Lorsque j'ai un film entre les mains, j'ai l'impression qu'on me confie une part du réalisateur... une partie de sa propriété intellectuelle... un fragment de son âme! Il va de soi d'en prendre soin, de le protéger et de le mener à bien! Le confort et l'attention consacrés aux comédiens, la connaissance et la prise en compte de chacun des postes, la préservation du réalisateur, l'optimisation du temps afin de ménager les esprits constituent pour moi l'aboutissement de tout assistant réalisateur.

When I have a film in-between my hands, I feel like I'm given a part of the director’s mission ...a piece of his intellectual property ... a fragment of his soul! It obviously must be taken care of, protected and used fruitfully! The comfort and attention devoted to the actors, the knowledge of each job and taking them all into account, the preservation of the director, the optimization of the time, all constitute the completion of any assistant director.
